One pair to rule them all? Yes.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

So I've had my share of gloves - belay, climb, and keep your fingers sort of gloves from OR, BD, Petzl, Mammut and more. With these Thriller Gloves you can simply skip the step of taping hands and keep these gloves on from belay to crack climb! They are comfy, rugged, useful, and great for a quick moonwalk on a top out or my favorite....

Thriller Repel.

The construction and the material chosen had a lot of thought for keeping your hands safe from scrapes and gashes in gnarly cracks, and comfy and stylish for the belay and haul. They are a bit bulkier than the equivalent BD's or Petzl, but overall you're getting way more feature use out of them.

There's a reason I have a small arsenal of OR gloves for every season - they are badass at building badass gloves. Hands down.

Thanks Gabriel L. for the Thriller 🎶 reference

Thriller Gloves

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs large
  • Size Bought: large

Cool Gloves, make me feel like MJ Thriller jacket. Did stain my hands red a couple times when you sweat. Nice construction, I feel like the fit is a little larger than I expected compared to my BD and Metolious gloves.

Thank you for the review!

Thanks for the review Gabriel! Super helpful to get this feedback out to the community.

Solid gloves

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

I haven't used these gloves for any type of jamming but I used and abused these over the season and have shown no major wear. The extended leather on the two middle fingers are awesome at protecting your fingers when flaking out your rope, I did think they got in the way during belays but i soon got used to it. Solid glove and worth the extra money!!!

Awesome, Matthew - thank you for the review! Not alot of people know about these gloves yet, so your feedback is perfect - thank you!

    Gloves forever!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: Runs small

These gloves have lasted me forever! I used to go through a pair of Petzl gloves every season but these gloves have now lasted me 3 seasons and they aren't even showing wear!! Great gloves, not too hot, fit well, all around awesome!!

    Outdoor Research Seamseeker Goves

It can take years of painful jamming, smearing and Jumaring to build up the calluses of a veteran climber. And though hands that look and feel like an old baseball mitt can be seen as a badge of honor, sometimes you want to protect your paws on the rock. The SeamSeeker Gloves? and AirBrake Gloves? are rock climbing and belaying gloves with durable split-suede overlays, Kevlar stitching and gel pockets on the palm -- to absorb and dissipate heat caused by the friction created during heavy ropework. Vents on the back of the fingertips allow perspiration to escape while maintaining total-hand protection.
