- Q & A
Great ice glove!
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I've been testing out a ton of different to find out what works best for me in different ice climbing conditions, and these have been one of my favorite so far! They have a really great, ergonomic design and just the right amount of insulation, keeping my hands nice and warm in most conditions. On colder days (20-25 degrees or colder) I like to use these as my climbing gloves and wear something warmer for the belay, and on warmer days I'll climbing in a thinner gloves and wear these for belaying. My only complaint is that they're a little too big for me (I went with a Medium); they were perfect out of the box, but once they broke in and the insulation packed out a bit, they're a little too loose on me. Now they have a somewhat sloppy fit, causing me to loose a bit of the dexterity that i loved so much. Still a great glove though, I'll probably pick up another pair in a size Small next season and see how those do!

- Familiarity: I've used it several times
I bought the OR Project Gloves for ice and mixed climbing. I've worn them for two days of ice climbing and two ski tours. They have a very technical fit. I can tie in, clip, use ice screws, and belay without removing them. I have fairly small hands (as in, I handjam #1 Camalots), and the small size fits great, though the pointer finger seems long compared to the rest of the glove. They aren't the warmest glove for long belays, but for gloves to wear while climbing, these seem awesome so far.
