nice pant

A very nice pair of pants, thinner than expected. As a personal reminder, they are very comfortable to wear and have good breathability.

Feel nice but baggy

Sent them back. Feel too much like your typical hiker looking pants. Didn't want that. Would be great my if they were tapered and but more form fitting. I kept the joggers. More my style.

I love these pants!

These have become my favorite travel and hiking pants. I bought one to try and now have several pairs. The fabric is lightweight and durable making it great for travel. They pack small. I also like the tie so I don't need a belt but could use one if I want to. The roll up legs are great when I need to cross a stream through the water but honestly, I would usually just walk through since these dry fast. The last piece is the pockets - They are deep which makes pulling my phone out slightly harder but I like it because nothing is falling out. I usually use the zipper pocket more but it's not needed as much with these. They are not something I would wear to work or for dressing up but I basically live in these every weekend and on any trips.

Great pants when they fit.

These have been my favorite three season backpacking pants for many years. The issue is that sizing is inconsistent. I am wearing a pair of 32 reg while writing this review and they fit perfectly. I just started a return on two pairs of 32 reg which arrived yesterday. Both pairs are two small. One of those two pairs is smaller than the other. This is a long standing issue with Ferrosi pants. OR sources from the cheapest supplier each year. Apparently, Bangladesh has now won the contract. Two years ago it was Vietnam. It is hard to understand the lack of quality control on an otherwise excellent product. By the way, the latest version lacks the crotch gusset. The gusset contributed to the pants flexibility when climbing uneven terrain.

So far so good

I have used these a few times for hiking at this point and think these are shaping up to be very capable. Fit: These are true to size for waist and length (34x32 for me) but definitely on the baggy side throughout the legs. Pros: -So, so comfortable. You forget you're even wearing pants. -Surprisingly good weather protection. These block wind and are very resistant to moisture and wetting out even in steady rain. -I love the features - well-placed zip thigh pocket and adjustable bottom cuffs Cons: -I'd prefer a slimmer fit throughout or at least a taper towards the bottom. I know the transit pants are slimmer but they give up that zip pocket I want. -Durability: I already caught a snag and some pilling around the bottom of the pants. I haven't been doing any hardcore off trail stuff so that's a little concerning -The hand pockets are very secure with their top entry but I wish they were side entry so it is not a pain getting stuff in/out of them -The waist is somewhat lacking in stretch compared to the excellent stretchiness of the rest of the pants Overall, great hiking pants and I hope to get a lot of use out of them.

The subtle hiker

My husband wanted adventure pants that he could get away with wearing in a nice restaurant when paired with a more formal top/jacket. So, not wide, but not the too-skinny leg that not many guys can pull off. No contrasting colors. Subtler zippers that disappear into the pants. Just lowkey non-hikey pants that hold up to the outdoors. The Ferrosi passes the looks and comfortable in any position test. 4 stars until we can field test.

Great mobility, light weight.

Like the cut, it's light weight but the fabric can withstand the wind.
