Great Athletic Hoodie
I've really liked this hoodie since I got it. The material is airy, so it breathes really well and dries really fast. That said, it doesn't offer much resistance against the cold, but it could serve as a good undershirt in cold weather. The hood sits well, and I always appreciate having thumb holes in a long sleeve. Highly recommended.

Fantastic
Love it. Wasn't sure if it would work as a layer to keep me warm any but after taking it on 50 degree weather hike with a light breeze it did a great job and just keeping the chill off me. Light enough that it is great for ultralight hiking as well. I ordered 2 more today!

Headed to the PCT
It is expensive but i have only had great experience with OR. That pushed me to choose this as my main sun hoodie for this hike. When it arrived i knew it was money well spent. Fit is perfect and quality/weight is right. Thank You.

Great product, but a little concerned about the durability
I love the material and how it's are so light but also provide just the right wind resistance and warmth, and dry fast if I'm moving. I bought two recently. One has only been worn a few times for daily wear and running and only washed maybe 3-4 times but already shows signs of some stray threads around the wrist and wrist seems. Not sure if it's just an anomaly, but it's made me want to treat both with extreme care and I've been afraid to wear them as much as I would like to.

A dissapointing update to a previously excellent layer
I have an older echo that I absolutely love. It's been a workhorse baselayer for many climbing skiing days, so comfortable under a helmet you wouldn't notice it's even there. So I thought I'd get another in a different color. Unfortunately they inexplicably changed the fit of the hood & now the face opening is now too small. The bottom chafes against your chin and is very uncomfortable to wear with the hood up. I can't recommend buying this version of the hoody WHY, WHY, WHY, on earth would you change the sizing?? I bought a size L and my head/neck aren't all that large, who is this supposed to be comfortable on? The previous version of the echo was a perfect baselayer. Don't be fixing what isn't broken.

Featherweight Sun Shirt
This is by far the best sun shirt I have ever had. Featherweight, breathable, and trim fit!!!

Definitely recommend this product
Love these shirts! Can be worn in the heat of the summer and as a baselayer in the winter. Extremely light and quick drying. Really enjoy the hood on bright sunny days for the extra UV protection

Too Delicate to be Practical
I like the cut and fit of this shirt, and the hood is nice for avoiding unwanted sun exposure. Unfortunately, the stitching is less flexible than the fabric, leading to broken stitches. I lost the bottom hem the first time I pulled the shirt over my head. After the first wash, I have catch in the fabric. I have an Echo Quarter Zip that had the same thing happen when it caught against the fabric of my car's seatbelt. These shirts cost too much to be this fragile. I would hate to see what happens if I ever go backpacking. I have similar shirts from other manufacturers, some I have had for well over a decade without this type of wear and tear. This garment runs similar to all other OR sizing. I wear an XL in all most manufacturer's but I am a XXL in OR sizing.

The Perfect Hiking Shirt
I purchased this hooded long-sleeved shirt for wear while backpacking and hiking. It's lightweight and drys quickly. Keeps the sun and bugs off. I recommend it. It could be more durable, as the material already has several fabric "pulls" and knots.
