Awesome Coat!
This coat is wonderfully versatile! Very easy to layer with other pieces and also takes up little to no space in a suitcase. Highly recommend.

Fits well in the body, but I don't care for the fit of the h
I haven't had a chance to test this in severe rain, so I don't know how fully waterproof it really is. The fit is nice in the body - slim, but fits over layers. However, I really don't like how the hood fits. I've cinched it down, but the visor is too floppy and impedes vision.

Lightweight

- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I am usually a small but got the medium. This gives room for a fleece underneath. Very lightweight! Not too noisy. Nice poncho option with the full zippers under the arms. Haven’t tried it in a hard rain yet

Overall Great Product
Originally, I had the first Aspire jacket and had that for around 6 years. It held up great and was amazing quality. I did re-waterproof it once after 5 years of use and it turned it back to brand new. However, one of the zippers fell off on the side zips and I was unable to fix it. Therefore, it was unusable. I was able to utilize the warranty and received a new Aspire jacket. Seems to be good quality as well. However, I did notice that some of the small features that were on my original Aspire are no longer there. Which is a small disappointment as I believe those small features added to the overall appearance and quality. Regardless, I am still very happy with my purchase and would recommend this jacket!

Not waterproof
I was soaked through. Very nice jacket but will not wear it hiking in wet weather.

NOT WATERPROOF
Like wearing a cotton T-shirt in the rain I was completely soaked through and through five minutes in the rain. Very disappointing.

Side zips are a GAME CHANGER
The best part of the jacket are the side zips, you can layer the puffiest down jacket you've got and the side zips give you adjustable room to layer as desired. Not only that, you can finally fasten that backpack hip belt directly around your waist without the cell phone in your jacket front pocket getting in your way. The same goes for car seatbelts! Best ever feature in a jacket, hands down.

Great Backcountry Jacket
Love this for the Backcountry... packs down, sheds snow and rain, love the color and works even on warm wet days to shed heat with the side zippers.
