After three days of rain, you'll be glad you have it.

When the rain hasn't let up for days, a simple rain cover over your pack isn't going to keep your gear dry. It's in situations like that when you'll be glad you have your gear packed in the Osprey Ultralight Dry Sack. These lightweight dry sacks organize your gear while keeping it dry in the face of serious rain and creek crossings gone awry. They're available in five different sizes to accommodate all your gear and have a roll-top closure to keep water out.

Awesome water proof bag

This bag is not only water proof, it allows for the insert to be packed very small and tight...taking up less room in you kit

    love!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

these are the absolute best stuff sacks. i have yet to have one fail me. i use them for any adventure where it may rain. held up great for 600 miles on the AT. they also make a great pillow!

    leave the worries behind!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I recently used this sack to store my food on a backpacking trip. I was warned of critters in the area getting into campers food and had to hang this bag up and away from the animals for four days. It held all of my food flawlessly and was super easy to hang up. I definitely will be getting a lot more use out of this sack on my future trips because it is so versatile and durable!

Great review - thank you Sheila!

    As Advertised.

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I think I've tried just about all ultralight dry bags at this point (SeaLine, Sea-to-Summit, OR) . This one is a bit more burly than the competition and I imagine is lest prone to blowing-out over the life of the product. Over all very happy with it. It has a slicker coating than other bags, so it is really nice for stuffing sleeping bags. This is a keeper.

Thanks for the review! I love the shape the most I think. Happy Trails, Ember!

    Air tight and perfect

Can't go wrong with this you can tell it's built to last forever. Used it on a rafting trip and worked really well.

Thank you Angie! Enjoy your dry bag. When people use dry bags, that means they are doing something pretty darn cool!

      Good Sack

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

It's a sack, that keeps your stuff dry, what else can you want? Love the colors. Stuff some clothes in it and use it as a pillow! Since it's a dry sack your clothes won't get drooled on!

      Good Sack

      Pretty simple and perfect

Great back, nice and light. packs down small and has held up great.

        Great Dry Sack

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Keeps everything dry while I am kayaking. I love it! Lightweight and stores small when empty.

        Great shape

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I use the 12L stuff sack to keep all my clothes in and keeps them dry, I use the 6L for my food bag. There's a nice little loop on the bottom so I can hang my bag. There's lots of sizes and lots of colors to choose.

        Awesome product

Light weight, easy function , just what I need for storing and or hanging food when backpacking.

          I use 12 L for clothing bag

          • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Great dry bag for packing my clothes in. Just the right size, I was using a 20L, that was too big. Are you using orange 6L as a food bag easy to spot up in the tree. Seem like a keep everything dry, But I really haven't had a mountain of downpour rain yet.

          Great!

          • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've moved away from sea-to-summit ultra sil bags in favor of OR's sil nilon bags and these. These are really smooth and you can stuff things into them really easily. They come with a great warranty and seem more durable than the others on the market.

          Sweet sack

          • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Took a 20L and a 3L through Moab and Grand Gulch last week. I used the 20L as a daypack and took it through Rock of Ages canyon and Looking Glass arch. It was a stupid move but the bag held up surprisingly well for an ultralight. A couple chimneys, some multi pitch climbing, and 4 repels later and it only has a few scrapes and tiny tears in the fabric. The sandstone out there is notorious for destroying equipment and these held up very well. They kept out a couple days worth of rain, which was all I was asking of them. I used the little one as a purse when stopping at gas stations. Stylish as hell, though I looked a little flamboyant to be sure. Can't recommend them enough, though don't be an idiot and abuse them like I did.

Great if it doesn't get wet

          • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This stuff sack works great as long as it doesn't get submerged or saturated. I was initially very impressed when using it for backpacking and on climbing trips, but calling it a "dry bag" is a bit of a stretch. I've used this bag on several kayaking trips over the last two years, if it is in contact with more than just rain it will leak.

          Perfect for compartmentalizing organizer

          • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I am an organizer and in all my packs are smaller bags. I know what goes inside every little bag so finding what I need is rarely an issue. It's light weight and holds what you need. If you are like me and want to have the ultimate organization- look no further than this little roll top stuff sack!

          A necessity

These little dry bags make packing super easy. They also are super functional and keep your stuff dry. I recommend to anyone.

            Dry AD

            • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I'll tell you what, it'll keep your things dry. I wouldn't submerge it because it's not really for that, but if you have stuff you need to keep dry on backpacking trips, soccer games or doin' other stuff, it'll work. Also, it's light, high quality stuff. Osprey is cool!

            Great Sack

            • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Sack is durable. I like the retangular shape, much easier to pack and slide in and out of a pack. Keeps items dry and secure. Many sizes to choose from to fit all your needs.

            Great bags

            • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have a few of these, and they work great. Durable, and effective.
