    Make the mundane magnificent.

Osprey designed the Flare 22L Backpack with as much care and love as any of their mountain packs, because let's face it, you'll use your everyday pack more than your technical pack but you'll still need it to perform as long as possible. The durable nylon fabric holds up to everyday wear and tear, while a smooth, breathable reverse spacermesh backpanel keeps your back comfortable and cool while you go about your daily life in the city. A padded laptop compartment keeps your urban gear safe while a front panel organization pocket keeps your day going smoothly. To enhance your daily backpack experience, Osprey added in a removable waist belt for when the load is heavy, and a blinker light attachment for getting home safely after a late night at the office.

    • Durable everyday backpack that holds up to extended usage
    • 22-liters of space stores everyday necessities or gear for hikes
    • Backpanel made from breathable reverse spacermesh for comfort
    • Removable waistbelt offers added support when carrying heavy loads
    • Osprey creates backpacks for almost any mountain endeavor

    the backpack for me

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I've been looking for the right backpack for soooooo long and I finally came across it. This has 2 main compartments, and small compartment for glasses, and a front snap compartment to throw things in. It has MANY small compartments to fit phones and such, but not TOO much. Being a post worker, im able to fit a full lunch, large thermos, poly vest, hankerchief, various paperwork, phone, wallet, powerbank with cord, ear buds....you get the gist. 23 L is the perfect size for school, everyday commute, etc. Will definitely be looking at more Osprey products in the future.

    How to Measure:
For best results, have someone take the measurement for you.
    Torso:
Start at the iliac crest (the top of your hipbone that you can feel like a shelf on the side of your body). From this level on your spine, measure to the C7 vertebrae, the knobby bone at the base of your neck when you put your head down. Make sure to keep your back straight while having the measurement taken.
    Hip:
Measure around your hips, at your iliac crest, not your waist.
