This jacket's Swisswool insulation uses the naturally warm and breathable properties of merino wool to give you dependable warmth that won't have you shedding layers on the skin track. To further ensure this, you've got merino wool panels under the arms for an easy-moving stretch and that added boost of breathability that you need when steep climbs have you kicking it into a higher gear. The main fabric of the jacket is windproof and water-resistant, giving you some protection against against the elements without having to throw on your shell, but when heavy snows or mixes do have you needing a shell, the slimmer fit of the jacket will layer perfectly underneath one.
