Why We Like The Ortovox Cevedale Pant

We've got plenty of great baselayers and an assortment of hardshells, but now it's time to add the Cevedale Pant to our alpine wardrobe. Its breathable and lightweight design makes it the perfect midlayer piece for our mountainous adventures. And if we want to sport them without a baselayer beneath, its ultra-smooth and moisture-wicking lining will surely keep us cozy.

Great for cross-country skiing

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I use these exclusively for cross-country skiing. I like the fit, which is athletic, but there is air all around my legs. I am not crazy about the skintight fit of some skiing pants. These are more respectable, sharp looking, have useful sizeable pockets, pack light and I do not find restrictive for both classic and skate skiing. Typically, I will use thermal under wear (long pants such as Smartwool) to add a layer of warmth, which works well.
