Jasmine Jacket

The Orage Jasmine Jacket is designed to keep you on the slopes even when the conditions are bitterly cold. The Jasmine features a combination of down and PrimaLoft Sport insulation—concentrated at the core and sleeves respectively—to keep your precious body heat from slipping away. A Prime 20 membrane provides breathable protection against the elements, and the most vulnerable seams have been sealed to prevent moisture from seeping in. A helmet-compatible hood works with the powder skirt and adjustable cuffs to ensure snow can't sneak in these access points and dampen your spirits.

  • Insulated jacket for cold days on the slopes
  • Prime 20 provides breathable protection from moisture
  • Down insulated body traps in heat for your core
  • Primaloft Sport insulated sleeves insulate even while damp
  • Critical seams sealed to keep snow from melting through
  • Helmet-compatible hood and powder skirt seal out gusts
  • Adjustable cuffs and wrist gussets keep snow out

My Second Orage Jacket

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: XS

There aren't a ton of Orage reviews out there- so I figured I'd write one in hopes it helps anyone.

I bought my first Orage jacket four years ago, and have worn the crap out of it. It's still AWESOME but it is black and has faded pretty badly (I've washed it a lot) so I picked this one up. I'll keep wearing the black one in cruddy conditions because I won't care as much about preserving it now.

Anyway, onto this newer model jacket. I figured why not try the one out with "all the bells and whistles" and snagged it on sale. It's lightweight, warm, and fits my frame nicely. I don't feel like I'm wearing a boxy ski jacket. My only complaint is the zipper is a minor pain to get lined up perfectly to zip up.

5'6 115lbs bought an XS and fits a long sleeve and additional thin layering underneath.
