Old Town Vapor 12XT Kayak
Old TownVapor 12XT Kayak

Serious paddling prowess.

Stable like steamship, wide like a whale, and streamlined like a sailboat, the Old Town Vapor 12XT Kayak is built to make short work of a day on the lake, river, or ocean, regardless of whether you're a first-timer or salty old vet. If you're island hopping, the Vapor is super-easy to get in and out of, and it has a stern storage hatch to keep a day's worth of gear safe and dry.

On days when you have a serious destination and spend a lot of time digging deep, you'll appreciate the heavily-padded Comfort Flex seat and adjustable Support Track foot brace system. Of course, no matter what you're doing, the molded cup holder is a serious bonus, as are the molded paddle rest and cockpit tray, letting you put down your paddle, sip a beverage, and eat some snacks as you watch the sun set over the bay.

Vapor 12XT

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This kayak is everything I asked for and more. It is incredibly stable incredibly nimble and quick in the water. Could not have asked for more. Thank you!

Great product just as described and showed up on time. Packaging was a different story. Company shipped it out with only a thin piece of plastic covering it. when it got to me it had several gouges and dents, one almost all the way through it. luckily I know how to fix kayaks but I would definitely not order from here again.

    Great for bigger person

Love the way this boat tracks and glides through the water. Only problems are the height of the gunwales/deck: as a shorter person (5'3") I am constantly bumping my paddle on the high sides of the kayak, and I can no way reach the "molded in cupholder" on the front of the deck. Otherwise, a very nice kayak.
