Super comfy
I bought these boots after not having new ones for awhile. I hiked some fairly rugged trails in Glacier national park and the boots were amazing!

Great Arch Support - Too Small
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
My feet run narrow and are size 7 or 7.5. I was thrill to hear that an Oboz runs narrow. They really do and wondered if the toe box was wide enough. I tried an 8 and barely enough room for the length of the foot. So I will try an 8.5 and hope that works.

very narrow

I listened to the reviews that says they run small, I ordered a half a size larger but they are still small but worse they are super super narrow. If someone orders a 10.5 size shoe, I doubt their feet are that small and narrow. They look nice though, unfortunately I will have to return.

Quality and Comfort!
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
Wore out my first pair, and was VERY happy to find that I could still get them on Backcountry. I find them to be a comfortable boot, ready to go with little break-in needed. They have good but flexible ankle support. They are light but the sole is adequately protective over rough ground, and they stick well to rock so I am foot-sure scrambling. Just to be safe - I bought two pairs; should hold me for a few more years even if they stop making these :-)

Taking to Iceland next week. They are lightweight and very comfortable. I sized up a half size for thicker socks.

Beautiful, mostly comfortable boots

First, these are the most attractive hiking boots I've ever had! Below it says huckleberry, but I actually got java. I ordered a size 9, and I usually wear an 8 or 8.5, and the fit is perfect. The arch support and heel width is great. I did have some trouble with the toe box being a bit small. I wore them around on short walks, but I was still having problems. The right boot was the worst, but I finally solved the problem by stuffing newspaper into the toe section, laying a damp cloth across it, and blowing warm air with a blow dryer. I left the newspaper in overnight, and the next day it fit fine. I just stuffed newspaper into the left boot and left it overnight, and all problems were solved. I went on my first real hike with them yesterday with no problems at all. They are waterproof so far.
