    Maverick Glove

Keep your hands blissfully warm and protected during chilly river runs with the NRS Maverick Glove. 2mm raw neoprene sheds water to keep your hands nice and toasty while providing unmatched grip. Four-way stretch Extended fabric along the interior enhances dexterity for rigorous paddling, with pre-curved fingers to prevent hand fatigue on longer runs. LiquidSeam sealant keeps water from sneaking in and chilling your hands, and the improved HydroCuff wrist safeguards against splashes and mist.

    • Q & A

Was not that pleased with these

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

They weren't terrible but they weren't spectacular either. I honestly think it comes from preference though. I prefer to paddle without gloves so these just drove me nuts. That being said we we're in some pretty cold waters and they did keep me warm. If your hands get cold easily I would highly recommend.

    Good gloves

Good warm glove. But like NRS socks get one size fits from what their size chart says. Those run big

      It’s a glove

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I dub these as gloves for canyoneering. They have a rough surface on the palm that is super grippy and nice on the rock. Decent dexterity for when you are freezing your butt off while messing with your caribeaner in freezing canyon water. These are about as good as it gets if you want to stay kind of warm and still have use of your fingers.

      for kitesurfing

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Got these for ktiesurfing in the northern lakes of Utah. Worked like a charm in 57 degree water. Not too thick to be constricting, felt great when holding on the bar. cuff is tight enough to keep the water out. I tried them on before buying and large was the move. I wear generically large gloves for ski gloves. This will keep me going through November.

good quality but not the warmest

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I love nrs products but I traded these ones in for the nrs maxim gloves. The gloves run a little small and there's not too much insulation in the maverick. It was snowing when I tried them so in warmer conditions they might work great.

      Heat Wave

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Tight fitting but accurate sizing and works perfectly.

      Bomber!

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These gloves keep your hands warm. Bottom line. I used them for mountaineering so the fingertips wore away eventually, but I imagine they would last super long when used correctly (actually for paddling).

I love the double use as a mountaineering glove. Well done Steven.

      Warm and High Quality

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I took these on a 3-day trip down the Colorado in Westwater Canyon. Warm, durable, grippy, welded seams and a great fit. I was really happy with these and expect them to last for years to come. I wish I had these at times for 34 degree rainy days on the Appalachian trail!

Great glove for cold days on the water

One white knuckled early season day out on the river will make you realize how important good gloves are. NRS made a pair of quality gloves that keep my hands warm for early season rafting trips. They fit snug and are well made. Quality material and seem to be holding up perfectly. Very happy with them.
