Why We Like The Skylab TLS Snowboard Boot

Lightweight, precise, and versatile enough for the full season—the Skylab TLS Snowboard Boot is a brand-new addition to Nitro's lineup to fill the niche of a one-quiver boot. Waterproof 3D-knit uppers are tough enough to resist abrasion while keeping feet remarkably dry inside. Nitro's Cloud 8 liner features memory pads and internal ankle support, offering a more precise lifetime fit at the ankle and heel.


This boot's durable build and stiffer flex are built to succeed on our splitboards, too. The eFoam overlays boost boot durability for crampon and splitboard binding compatibility. And more importantly, the Skylab is built with Nitro's Hike 'n' Ride construction: a soft-flexing mesh panel at the spine of the boot that lets our stride match the negative lean of our bindings in ski-mode or our natural bootpacking angle. Though this boot is built for the downhill, these uphill-oriented features keep us comfortable while exploring untouched terrain.
