    Ride illuminated.

We find it easy to remember to bring a light along when we're planning a pre-dawn or night ride. The in-between times are when we have far more trouble remembering, even though it's just as dangerous to be riding without the illuminating protection of a tail light during the gloaming hour. For the evenings you wait to ride until the temperature reaches a tolerable number, then realize you'll be pedaling home along shadowy descents in the dim light of dusk, the NiteRider Cherrybomb 35 Tail Light makes an unobtrusive and extremely effective companion.

Offering up 35 lumens and four different modes, including a daytime setting to increase visibility when you're riding in traffic, the Cherrybomb's streamlined design should earn it a permanent place on your frame. Niterider constructed the light to shed in a cone shape, rather than straight behind you, giving you added visibility to motorists from the sides without the use of extra bulbs. It also thoughtfully included a built-in reflector in the light, which improves visibility during the day when the light isn't turned on.

    • Stay visible on the days you stay out past sunset
    • Bulb eliminates blind spots by casting light to the sides
    • Built-in reflector improves visibility during the day
    • Lightweight design won't add bulk to your frame

    Good commuting light

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Great light, but starts to run a bit dull when the battery is low. Still will have tons of life though. Mounting mechanism is also a bit dodgy, the angle adjuster gets worn out a bit quick. Lost my light on a bumpy ride :(

    Great commuter light

I've used this light for a few months now and have no complaints. Runs on batteries so you can bring a spare if you're going on a longer ride. Great flashing options and very bright.

Great little tail light with several flashing modes. Good for general commuting.

    Great Little Light

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

There are so many options when it comes to bike lights. This little guy is small but bright enough for night rides in the city. If your doing anything in a pitch black regions, I would get a bigger/brighter light. But I've loved how simple it is to operation, the light dimming features and price.

    A nice taillight.

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This light is simple and works well. I have it mounted on my seat post, I have seen no issues though it hasn't seen a ton of use. I would recommend this light, a good value and effective.

    Works perfectly.

For the price it works great and does exactly what I wanted. It is bright enough to be seen well in the daytime and it stays right where I put it. I ride in Wisconsin on some rough country roads beat up by winter and this light stays put. It doesn't drop down or rotate. It is in the same place at the end of my ride as it was when I started.

    Great for the price

Overall this is very bright and has a strobe setting that is very visible and a bit different from most bike/runner strobes so it helps you stand out and be seen. The one thing i was not pleased with was the plastic clip on the back of the unit. It has bent a little and doesnt stay closed when clipped on my panniers and bounced off one day.. I luckily heard it and snatched it but I eventually zip tied it to my commuter bags. Now its stuck for good!

    essential and great value

Nightrider is a cool, independently-owned, cycling/lighting company that engineer, assemble, and service their lights in the USA (San Diego, CA).

This little $20 tail-light from Nightrider is one of the favorite cycling things I have ever purchased.

It works great. It is well made. It works in the rain. The mount is quality, and does not droop like some. The blinking light is VERY bright. And if the light is off, the unit still works as a reflector. Brilliant.

    Great light. Great value.
