Single speed specific.

Niner’s Cogalicious single speed cog is designed to fit Shimano freehub bodies. With a wide base, these cogs will prevents marring of the body under the high loads of single speed riding. The base is also offset to allow the fine tuning of chain lines.

The Niner Cogalicious is available in six sizes from 17 to 22 teeth in order to fit different gearing preferences.

Every couple years I get the yearning to punish myself singlespeeding...its that time again. Found my surly spacer kit (needed to take up unused space on freehub body) but can't find my surly 18t cog (probably loaned it out???). Set up easily and has working fine so far (couple rides). Ultimately deducting a star since the price is more than a Surly or Wheels brand cog and I'm not sure I'll ever discern what benefit (if any) the Niner cog has over them. If you want to make an old trail new again and understand the value of momentum over obstacles, trade out your gears for the simplicity of a singlespeed setup.

Light as Ballz

    This is my third niner cogalicious cog and I love it. I have several of the tooth sizes in my quiver as to work in different areas of riding. Best value for a cog by far.
