Named after the cross mantra of Blood, Sweat, and Beers, the Niner BSB RDO 3-Star Rival 1 Complete Bike satisfies the cyclocross racer seeking a rocket ship for merciless sprints to the finish, slogs across sand pits, hectic hops over barriers, and refreshing beer hand-ups. Designed around Niner's flagship RDO Carbon frame, the BSB 9 RDO imparts unrelenting stiffness and power transfer, so every turn of the cranks equates to forward-surging momentum. For the 2018 model year, the BSB 9 RDO gets flat-mount disc brakes and two opposite colorways for the bold and stealth-minded racer alike.

Carrying Niner's Race Day Optimized carbon frame, or RDO for short, the BSB 9 RDO benefits from Niner's Carbon Compaction System (CCS). This carbon manufacturing process uses a rigid internal mold for a tighter, more consistent compaction of the carbon layers, yielding an increase in the precision of wall thickness, as well as a significant reduction of resin pooling. This means the engineers at Niner can tune the BSB 9 RDO with the exact characteristics they're after—namely unrelenting stiffness, strength, and ride quality.

Race-ready geometry makes the BSB 9 RDO adept at navigating tight courses with its steep head tube angle lending agility and steering response. Flatly sculpted tubes enhance the bike's torsional rigidity for rocket-like acceleration, as well as making it easier to shoulder the bike when you're hopping over obstacles. Another stand-out, Niner's Carbon RDO Fork delivers high levels of stiffness with its RDO carbon lay-up, tapered steerer, and 15-millimeter thru-axle.

Naturally, the BSB 9 RDO is disc brake only, with the newest incarnation sporting flat-mount discs with 140-millimeter rotors for powerful stopping in the nastiest, muddiest conditions. This three-star build kit comes with a SRAM Rival 1x11 drivetrain for no-nonsense shifting without having to deal with a pesky front derailleur. The Stans Grail Wheelset offers an optimal 24.5-millimeter width for supporting the 33-millimeter Schwalbe X-One Evo SS Tires, giving you greater bump compliance and better traction at lower pressures.
