The Nathan Peak Hydration Waist Pack holding all the essentials you need for quick runs around the city or local trails. This waist pack features an innovative XTS Cradle bottle holder that's angled to allow easy, one-handed access to the included 18-ounce Ergological SpeedDraw Flask. The holder has some insulation to prevent your hard-working body from heating up the liquids you require to replenish yourself. Extended side panels hug your hips with stretchy comfort for a snug fit, and one side features a zippered stretch pocket for your keys while the other side has an external shock cord for securing a gel or two.

- Q & A
Welcome to hydration station.
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I'm more a hydration vest person, mostly based on personal preference and the fact that I'm extremely clumsy and would most likely bonk myself with a hand flask - but I still needed something that would keep me hydrated on runs that didn't require a hydration vest. Picked up the Nathan Hydration Waist Pack, and thus far I'm pretty pleased. Admittedly, the 18 oz is a bit bigger than required (or anticipated, for some reason....who knows), but better to be safe and hydrated than sorry and dehydrated. The waist pack itself is easy to adjust, and fits my 25-inch waist well. The design fits in such a way that it's super secure and mostly comfortable against your back. I was a bit skeptical of potential leakage, mostly based on previous experience with a mega leaky Nathan hydration belt years prior, but so far so good! The tilted design prevents any hot spots and doesn't impede motion (also it does boast a bungee to secure the water bottle, which is way nice). And the gear bungee is super convenient for packing down a light layer. The moderate sized pocket has a funky shape, so it doesn't explicitly fit my smart iPhone 5, so I figure that pocket is best suited for gels and snacks. All in all, for the price, you can't really go wrong.
Bought for the DAD
My dad guides international tourists to some of our national parks and so he needed a hydration pack for the longest time. I figured I would get him this and so farhe loves it!
