Welcome fall with open arms.
When a hint of crispness first makes its way into the air in your morning rides, we don't blame you for wanting to go home, throw all of your summer kit in the closet immediately, and welcome back your beloved thermal jerseys. Fall makes a luxurious respite after months of searing temperatures, and it usually means a switch from structured workouts to base mile rides without the pressure of looming races. Nalini's Men's Long-Sleeve Mantova Warm Jersey is just about as eager as you are for cool mornings, fog in the valleys, and rich foliage. We'd highly recommend giving it a coveted spot on your fall kit roster.
Nalini trusts its Cold Moa Medium fabric to give the jersey a blend of insulation and breathability, without compromising on the streamlined Italian style the brand does so well. The brushed fabric establishes a lofted layer of warm air between itself and your baselayer, continuously wicking moisture when you start to heat up to prevent cold, clammy fabric from throwing off your ride. A Moa Mantodry treatment repels fall mist and passing showers, and a silicone gripper at the bottom hem of the form-fitting jersey keeps it in place as you move around in the saddle to take in the autumnal views.

- Q & A
Understated and functional
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: Large
I've always liked the classic, understated look - this jersey definitely fits that niche. It's not a super-warm long sleeve jersey, so I wouldn't suggest using this on below-40 F rides unless you layer it under a jacket. But for the more-common high-40s to 60s rides, it's perfect. The rear pockets are plenty large enough for your extra layer when it comes off (such as a vest and knee warmers) and will still give you room for all of your other essentials. This is a classic Italian fit; size L was perfect for me, but I'm not very bulky. Some buyers may want to go up a size. Oh - and the arms are nice and long.
