Light weight + small when collapsed

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I just received these poles today so I haven't used them yet. I will say that the usable range is actually 42" + not 41" plus. I only noticed because I'm a hair shy of 5'2" and I really would prefer 41", especially if using when walking uphill. Hopefully these will work for me as they were an awesome price and I love the light weight and how small they are when collapsed.

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I'm new to hiking poles - and lymphedema. So far these are wonderful: easy adjustment, comfortable handles, light but sturdy, easy to pack, great color. They fit my 5'3" frame nicely. When ordering, I figured they'd be good intro poles but now don't foresee wanting to upgrade. Very happy.

Compact support.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Not only have I put these through the wringer, I have also put my knees through the wringer so I need these hiking poles for serious approaches. I picked these in particular because of how small they pack down and how lightweight and compact they are. It's easy to throw them in my climbing bag or strap them to the haul bag so I can have them when it comes time to hike back to the car or walk off a climb. On top of that, the cork handles are really comfy and I can't say I don't like the color!
