super thin and felt poorly made

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

The skirt is incredibly thin with barely any insulation. The material felt cheap and was really noisy (swishy).

Cute Skirt

I love wearing this skirt over leggings and with boots. I had to go up a size because it does not stretch when sitting. Great skirt for winter and warmth.

Cute, runs small

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

Material high quality, cut it flattering. However, it ran smaller in the hips than i thought.

Love this skirt!

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Great purchase. So light, easy to wear and does the job of keeping my bottom warm. I agree with others that you need to go up one size for the best fit.

Too snug around my hips

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I’m a huge fan of insulated skirts; they’re my go-to piece both when the temperature drops or if I’m at a rainy festival in the summer. I have short, super short, and long ones. I didn’t mind that this one fell on the shorter side, and was pleased that it had a pocket. What drew me to it was the stretchy waist; I find the ones that are straight insulation all the way can be restricting after a full day, even with elastic at the waist. But while the skirt fit, and I could get it on, I found it very snug and it didn’t have nearly the give at the waist and hips that I’d hoped. I was worried if I sized up, there would be too much fabric everywhere else (not to mention how much I’d paid in return shipping; I wasn’t prepared to have it not fit again). For reference, I bought a small and my measurements are 35-27-35.

Love it!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Great skirt. Its a little tight to pull up and on over hips but once on doesn't feel too tight. Is really a mini skirt! But great for leggings and a short jacket. Supper warm and does the trick. Exactly what I was looking for.

Bit disappointed. Not functional

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This skirt is ok. I didnt find it very functional due to it moving around during my run. It definitely will not be a reliable "go to" piece like my other pieces from MH. I'm 5'8 & weigh 165lbs. I'm an ultrarunner & mom of 5 so everything I own needs to be highly functional & work in all weather conditions. Fits perfect over base layer without being too clingy & it's not too bulky. I've worn it twice & I don't know if I will continue to use it for runs as I found it really annoying. I wonder if a short inside would help to keep it from moving around been wearing it? Otherwise its fit nice & fairly flattering as its not being bulky. I might just use it casually but not for activities. I was looking for something to keep my bum a bit warmer when its colder than -15 temps & higher humidity levels.

It keeps your butt warm!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This skirt is cute and I'm sure it looks great worn as a standalone piece, but I have never tried it - nope, for me this little beauty is a midlayer for wearing beneath my Dynama Skirt when I'm hiking, which it absolutely shines at! On my recent late August trip to Garibaldi Provincial Park in British Columbia, this thing complimented my Dynama Skirt magnificently whenever the mercury dropped. For backpacking use, this thing is quite warm for not a lot of weight - 1.8 oz / 52 g is perfectly acceptable. It's definitely coming with me on every future trek! The only thing I find weird about it is the little pocket in the waistband (which, like the Dynama line, is very belly friendly,) but I suppose that probably has some fashionable everyday use. As for me, I'm a hiking girl period, so I can't fathom its function. Perhaps it is for money? (I wouldn't put money there, it isn't zippered.) Anyway, I love my skirt and I really recommend it!

Love this skirt

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I was pleasantly surprised with the pocket and the cut of the skirt that drops lower in the back. Warm and wind breaking.
