Awesome stretchy shorts with trim fit
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: 34
I've been wearing the Shilling Shorts for a few months now and am really liking the stretchy material and relatively trim fit. The material has a good feel to it, and is also quite durable - I have a feeling it will dry super quickly after an impromptu jump in the lake or river - mesh pocket bags are also key here. I really like how there are two zippered pockets; one in the rear and one on the front right thigh. I have been using the front zippered pocket for my iPhone 6, and it fits perfectly - the hand pockets are just that; hand pockets, and for that they are the correct size. After all, with 2 zippered pockets, there's plenty of room to safely stow keys, phone, wallet, etc. I really like the fit - my wife immediately asked me "ooo, what are those?" when I put them on, and that's a good thing. They are trim, but still leave plenty of room for movement, especially with the stretch. Personally, I find them to fit me perfectly - I am a 34 waist and wear these in a 34 as well. I have them in Shark, which is a nice charcoal color - a bit lighter in person, which was a bonus for me.
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Fit: Runs large
- Size Bought: 30
Front pockets too shallow, causing almost anything inside it to come out when seated. Waist size runs large when compared to published standard waist size for 30.
