Kor Strata Hooded Jacket
Run another lap on your favorite climb in the brisk autumn weather in the Mountain Hardwear Kor Strata Hooded Jacket. Featuring a lightweight construction using top-of-the-line Primaloft Gold insulation, this jacket keeps you warm but ventilates out excess heat. That way you're not getting overheated while working that crux pitch of a climb that's still in the shade in the morning. The underarm gusset and mechanical stretch nylon fabric allow for a comfortable range of motion that won't restrict you as you reach far above your head looking for a hold to pull on. The adjustable hood can easily be pulled over a helmet if the weather turns and your head needs a little extra protection.
- A weather-resistant and breathable hoodie for climbing or hiking

- Q & A
Best all around jacket
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
My everyday jacket. I have similar M.H. jacket that I wore holes in over many years it was so good. This new improved version in the Kor Strata is a better fit and keeping me happy. I find I stay more temperature stable in this than even my lightest down jacket. Can keep happy in a chilly breeze or wear simply around the house.
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: Runs small

Winter is upon us. Be prepared to stay warm with the top of the line Primaloft insulation. If you're like me and want to get your laps in this winter, run up to Grandeur Peak or if you need a jacket to do some climbing in I recommend this jacket. It breathes with you as you work up some steam. I have found that this jacket can operate and keep you comfortable, without excess condensation build up from your efforts, in cool fall weather. The jacket has a chest pocket to keep your phone or other belongings from rattling in your other pockets, and the stretchy nylon fabric allows for superior range of motion. Only gripe is the length of the jacket I find fits a bit smaller in the torso. Long torsos be advised.
