I'll wear this windshell to the grave

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I've had one of these for 2 years now. It has no rips in it and I've scrambled and bushwacked in it more times than I can count. I've taken it all over and it is absolutely fantastic for all things windy and it does everything I could ever ask for above treeline in Colorado when there's any sort of wind and/or cooler temps. I also use it to protect against the sun when I'm up high, even when it's reasonably warm out it's still nice. Breathes extremely well, the material is super comfortable, the jacket is stupid light, it packs well into my vest and the sizing (for me) is perfect. I have a size small, I'm 5'8 165. The day mountain hardwear discontinues this will be an extremely sad day for me. I'll probably buy a couple more of them whenever there's new colors. (bleh red, sorry)

Awesome - glad I didn?t size up

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Great jacket. Was tempted to size up based on other reviews, but glad I didn?t. It?s definitely more fitted than your average American non-athletic consumer brands, but with the little bit of stretch it?s perfect. If you don?t want a ton of extra fabric flapping around in the wind on your runs/bikes, this will fit the bill.

Nice and breathable

Quiet breathable compared to other wind shirts. Used in windy weather at 18C and it worked perfectly in blocking the wind but keeping me from over heating. Does run SMALL. Im a L in other brands (Patty, Arc, Marmot) with room to layer but this was tight around the chest/armpit area. 5'11, 190lbs, 42.5" chest

Amazing jacket

I used this great light jacket for cycling, hiking, skiing, running and walking the dogs. It’s perfect, very light and very packable!

My favorite active breathable shell

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

This is the perfect active shell. I love it for mountain biking and running. It?s the type of shell that breaths so well during the climb but provides just the right amount of protection when I?m racing down the single track on a chilly or cold day.

Fitted Thin jacket

This jacket is very thing and light. It is a perfect added later for a run in the morning when it's a little cool and you want to feel warmer but won't be too warm once you're into your run. When you have keys in the pocket, it weighs down the jacket. I'd be careful to have a phone in the pocket and I'd certainly not run with much or anything at all in the pockets. It took almost two weeks to be delivered despite it saying one week to have it delivered from London Ontario to Vancouver BC. This was ordered June 2020. The medium size is a perfect fit. I am 5'11" and 180lbs. I sometimes get small and sometimes medium. I was wondering whether a small would have been better before it arrived, but there's no way a small would have fit. The medium is a perfect fit. Overall, this is a great perfect fitting jacket when you need just a little more warmth.

Fits great perfect lightweight jacket

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

Blocks wind well and mild rain (all I've experienced so far). Stretch is nice and folds down to pocket size. My wife has the same one and loves it also. Used in mtn. Biking mostly. I'm Stockier built and the large fit well. Medium just wouldn't fit my shoulders or lats.

Just an overpriced running windbreaker

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I got it specifically for climbing based on description and the video above. The sizing is quite fitting, the material is light and stretchy. It is not enough for climbing because: 1. Yes, the jacket does stuff into its own pocket for convenient storage on the go. But where is the LOOP to attach it to your harness? I am not even sure how to attach home made loop to such a delicate material if I make one. 2. Also, on the point above -- where is the inside zipper pull at least in one of the pockets? Do you think it is convenient to zip it from inside especially if hanging on the wall? 3. Harness compatible pockets is a good thing, if you have at least one chest pocket... It does not... Did I get the wrong jacket? If not, it is just an overpriced running jacket. I decided to return it..

Love it so far

Fits great, feels awesome. Breaks the wind well, can't speak to the water resistance yet. Only issue I've found is some very minor stray ends in the waist area, only one or two but easy to cut off.

Miracle product

When this jacket first arrived I thought there's no way all the positive reviews could be true: it's so thin and flimsy feeling that it seems like it's a mistake, especially for the price. But it does exactly what it's supposed to -- keeps out wind and light precipitation while weighing almost nothing. Highly recommended. Ideal for fall cycling or winter running with a base layer underneath.
