Perfect Shorts

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: Small

Awesome shorts, I use for anything outdoors. Very well made. They run a bit small. Hope to buy more colors when in stock!

Multiple Pairs!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: 36 x 9

I have multiple pairs of these damn good shorts. True fit, light but sturdy fabric and nicely reinforced. Inside they've sew-in a mesh liner (like old school swimming trunks) to combat bat wing. Genius. Two zip back pockets—awesome. Side phone pocket may be the best feature of all—just wide enough to accommodate an iPhone and no "blouse" at all. Phone lays comfortably flush with your thigh and doesn't move around.
PLEASE! Do a real deep black pair. Bought the "Void" color and was a bit disappointed, just a weak not-black-not-gray color.

Excellent shorts

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: M 31

I've worn these for over a month now - just standing at my desk, working in the yard, going out to eat, hiking, biking around town, etc. - and I love them. My 3rd pair of Mountain HW shorts and I can attest to the comfy fit, quality construction and durable 'feel'. The colors are really nice too. No regrets!

They were a hit!

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Dark Copper

I was concerned about these shorts after reading the mixed reviews, but they are perfect and ended up being a total hit. The material is a really nice weight, appear to be well designed, very comfortable (according to the recipient), and available in fun colors (Dark Copper). So far they have held up well to regular use and fingers crossed they continue to work well for many uses to come.

Not the best for your buck

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size

The fabric is thick and doesn’t breath well. Which causes the shorts to fit weird and feel tight in my opinion. I thought the fabric would make them tougher wore them to work and tore a hole in the back! Sizing is on point for waist and length the only plus.. better shorts out there for the same price

New Go-To Mountain Bike Shorts

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: 32 - so they would be tight for biking

Buy these one size smaller than your normal size (I usually wear a 33 and I bought a 32), and they make for a great mountain bike short. I've tried a lot of different shorts (Prana Stretch Zion) we're my most recent favorite, but these are my new favorites hands down. The fabric is bulletproof and durable and the fit is tight for a slender person but just right for aggressive riding.

Adventure shorts

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

Fit as expected and I really wanna wear them all the time. Can't really ask for much more in a pair of shorts.

Great shorts

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: 34

The material was a bit thicker than I thought it was going to be. Thought it was more like the Ferrois by OR, but even though it is different than what I expected I still like these shorts a lot. Fit is solid, good construction and look great.

Good shorts

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

Fit good and look good

One of the best built shorts I've owned

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: 38

I love the material of construction, it breathes, moves, and has little bit of stretch for extra mobility, yet keeps its strength. From what I can tell so I will have these shorts for a long time. The phone pocket is the best (I have a iPhone 6), the pocket is in the perfect spot so it doesn't ever hit you leg. Durable build and extra cool in hot humid conditions. They recently surpassed my Kuhl Rengades as my favorite short.

Awsome shorts

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

They fit nice and are very conformable.

One of these best shorts I own

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

Next to my Prana stretch zions these are a great pair of shorts and would absolutely recommend. I wear these everywhere and will probably buy more as the weather warms up over the summer!

How to Measure:
All measurements correspond to equivalent body measurements, not the dimensions of the garment. For best results, take measurements over your underwear.
Chest:
Measure under your arms, around the fullest part of your chest.
Sleeve:
Measure from the center of your back to your wrist with arms held out.
Waist:
Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape a bit loose.
Hip:
Measure around the fullest part of your body at the top of your legs.
Inseam:
Using pants that fit well, measure the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg.
