Mountain Equipment's Pinnacle Glove has everything your hands need to stay dry and warm while skiing or climbing. Gore-Tex gives this glove guaranteed waterproof breathable protection while PrimaLoft Gold insulation ensures thermal warmth in a lightweight package. ExoLite softshell fabric keeps the Pinnacle stretchy for mobility, and the pile lining feels soft against your skin. Pittards Armortan leather covers the palm and back of hand for grip and durability, and Mountain Equipment reinforced the leather with Kevlar stitching for longevity. The Pinnacle also features a pre-curved hand construction for enhanced dexterity, an extended gauntlet for extra coverage, and a single-handed drawcord for simple security.

- Q & A
Super tough, super warm
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
These are seriously warm gloves and the ones I reach for climbing and skiing on the coldest days. The Gore-Tex lining, Armortan palms and Primaloft Gold insulation is backed up by the fibre pile lining that really helps to keep these gloves feeling warm even if you do manage to half fill them with spin drift on a belay!
As with all big gloves that have a lot of leather on the outer they need a little bit of wearing in but once they've softened up after a day or two I can easily second steep pitches in them before swapping out to my Randonee Gloves for the big lead.
I've used a lot of big gloves over the years and if there's a better super warm gauntlet glove I've never found it!
