For year-round use, the Mountain Equipment Men's Ogre Jacket is reliably protective for winter skiing and comfortably light for summers in the alpine. Mountain Equipment's Drilite membrane gives this thin three-layer shell highly rated waterproof breathable protection. Fully taped seams enhance waterproofing by preventing a single raindrop or snowflake from seeping through.
The Ogre Jacket also features zippers under each arm for ventilated airflow, and the Mountain HC hood combines wide, helmet compatibility with snug-fitting adjustments. Mountain Equipment's alpine fit designs this jacket with articulated, pre-shaped sleeves for full mobility while climbing. There are hook-and-loop tabs at each cuff, and dual tether hem drawcords to completely seal out wet weather. Mountain Equipment finished this jacket off with large zippered pockets at the chest and at each side.
