Packing fiery heat within a sleek, lightweight shell, the Montane Men's Prism Insulated Pant is ideal for post-workout warmth, chilly mornings at the trailhead, and stashable alpine insulation. Montane includes a handy stuff sack for easy travel and storage in your pack, allowing for quick deployment when conditions take a turn for the worse.
40g PrimaLoft Silver Eco insulation traps precious body heat in chilly temperatures without stifling you during active trail use. Because it uses synthetic versus down insulation, the Prism Insulated Pant retains heat in the wettest of conditions. And to reduce overall environmental impact, the Prism uses post-consumer recycled insulation for a more sustainable alternative to traditional insulation materials.
Its abrasion-resistant Pertex Microlight shell resists snags and tearing when you're moving through thick brush and vegetation on the trail. This ultra-light nylon shell features a Durable Water Repellent treatment to shed outside moisture from seeping through and chilling your lower body. PEAQ synthetic lining offers a smooth on-skin feel for hours of continuous comfort. Other convenient features include an elastic, locking drawcord waist, 1/4-length side zips for easy on and off, as well as press stud ankle adjustments to seal out cold air and moisture.

I bought these pants to use under my shell for snowboarding and they did not let down. They had Just the perfect amount of insulation to keep me warm riding up in canada where temps were constantly sub-zero. The waist is a little snug but being 5'9 185 lbs the medium still fit me great. I never felt my rang of motion was hindered by these pants. They arent too baggy nor too loose and the little stuffsack they came with was handy to have for packing. The material as of now seems pretty durable. My only complaint is that there isnt on pocket on these and thats the only thing that kept me from giving it a 5 star rating.
