I could not find a single review on the fit of these shorts anywhere, not sure if I'm the only person who has ever purchased them?? Anyhow DO NOT listen to the size guide recommending to size down one size, I'm 5'2" 122lbs athletic build and always wear size Small..So I ordered XS due to the description stating they run a full size large, and nope doesn't fit, definitely too small in the waist, and it was a tight pulling them up over my rear. My normal Small would have worked just fine, and if you like a baggie fit go one size up from your normal size. Also there is nothing "tomboy" about the fit, they aren't roomy or even a little longer than your average Nike running shorts. I'm super bummed because these were for my honeymoon in Hawaii and we leave the day after tomorrow, no time to exchange for the size Small, also I am not happy the cost of return shipping ($7.99!)will be deducted from what I paid. Backcountry needs to remove the suggestion to size down and try to add waist dimensions of the short sizes themselves. They are a nice material and great pockets, but this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth so I will not exchange for a bigger size.
