All day, Everyday.
Michelin has millions of miles of experience with bicycle tires, and the Krylion 2 Clincher distills the brand's knowledge of road tires and provides a matchless blend of performance and flat protection for riding enthusiasts of all levels. The Bi-Compound rubber mix has excellent efficiency equating to low rolling resistance and high mileage without compromising any wet cornering grip. On unpredictable roads and the occasional stretch of gravel, the Bead 2 Bead Protek belt offers prime puncture protection and the 3 layer, 110 TPI casing is supple for a great road feel and excellent comfort we have come to expect from Michelin. These tires are lightweight, considering their robust puncture protection, and are equally adept as a training or racing tire. We love the idea of not having to swap out tires before a race and these tires will be on your wheels for a while. To finish first, you must first finish, and the Michelin Krylion 2 Clincher is your secret weapon for fast group rides and races.

- Q & A
Great for base miles.
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
Used this as a replacement tire for a cheap road bike sitting around the garage. It's really a nice tire for the price and would serve as a great set of training tires, seeing they're a bit heavier than a lot of tires on the market. Nice and grippy with pretty low rolling resistance. Not sure about durability- will have to update as time goes on.
Solid daily driver
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I chose these as my winter and early spring tires on my training wheelset. Nothing fancy but get the job of providing reliable base miles in. I'd even use these in a spring crit. Can't be beat at the CC sale price.
Michele KRYLON.2 endurance
Have them mounted on MAVIC Ksyrium SLS rims. Love the feel. Only 60 miles on them, but not a mark. Thread pattern feels very secure in cornering, sidewalls feel firm. Love them. They are replacing Vittoria, Rubino, PRO SPEED, that didn't stand up to cuts & ware. I'm 185 pounds and use Continental GATOR SKINS in early and late seasons. Best tire around, just to heavy.
