The quickest way to the summit.

Short of flying, the quickest way to get to the top is to lace up the Merrell All Out Blazer Aero Sport Women's Hiking Shoe, a lightweight and low-profile hiker made to move speedily across dry or soggy terrain. With an upper made of ventilated mesh, the Blaze keeps your feet cool and drains quickly after creek crossings, while the Vibram rubber grips rocks, roots, and stream beds like it's no big deal. Merrell's Omni-Fit lacing system hugs your foot, the TPU heel counter provides stability on rough ground, and the UniFly midsole gives your foot plenty of lightweight but cushioned love so they don't hate you by the end of the day.

Disappointed

These shoes came highly recommended by a coworker who previously used them for the turtle nesting work I am doing. My boss ordered them for me and two weeks into starting field work my left shoe tore at the seem by my toes. They were working great until then. Now I can’t wear them because too much sand gets into my left shoe making walking very uncomfortable. Disappointed they didn’t last long or live up to their expectations, especially because my job paid so much for them

    Another Europe Trip

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

After my first experience of choosing Merrell's for backpacking through Europe and walking for miles, I have come back for a second. These shoes hold up so well and are beyond comfortable for long treks while still looking stylish. I always recommend Merrell's for lots of walking whether on cobble stone or mountains.

    Tour Guide Approved

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

As a former tour guide who used to wear Solomon shoes for my kayaking tours, these Merrells are great! They are much more comfortable and fit just like sneakers do. Best of all they lace up like sneakers do too. Other shoes that have a cinch tend to loosen during hiking and when getting wet. These are perfect for wearing from the beach to the car and out for the night if needed.

    The Best

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I always go with Merrell for my running needs. I’ve bought and re-bought this same shoe over and over again. Love em.

This is my wife's second pair. She is in love with them and hiked 10 miles the first day she got them. she said they're a 7.5 and are true to size. They're light weight and breathable - no blisters after that much mileage makes any shoe awesome.

    Great trail shoe!

    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 7.5

I typically wear between a 7.5 and an 8 in shoes. Tennis shoes, boots, and trail shoes are typically an 8 for me. I ordered the 8 initially and they were just too big. This shoe has a wide toe box. I received the 7.5 (much better fit!) and wore them on a 15 mile hike. No break in period needed! These are very light weight and have excellent tread on them. Great shoe for warm weather trail hikes.

    good

    Size

The shoes seem to run small. I always get a 9.5 when I purchase Merrells but I had to get a size 10 in these.
