- Q & A
Lightweight and Warm
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Fit: Runs small
- Size Bought: medium
This coat is cozy! It is lightweight but really warm. The shoulders were a bit snug but still fit ok. Its more fitted them most Marmot coats I have tried before. I am a size 8-10 and the medium fit fine but fitted. If you are broad shoulders or are busty I would recommend sizing up. It is down fill so when it gets wet it will take a long time to dry but if you are not going to using this as a rain coat you should be good. Snowy and chilly days this coat is perfect.
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: True to size
My first jacket from Marmot - and I love it so much! It looks great, fit great, warm and nice to touch. Maybe a little short - you will need warm pants in cold days)) But everything else - just perfect)
Not waterproof at all
The first rain I wore the Williamsburg coat in soaked me. The description on the Marmot website clearly writes that it is waterproof. Water goes straight through the fabric . Also it does not say where the product is made. It is made in China. This information should be readily available.
