- Q & A
Got this coat for a killer deal on BC. It is super cute and fits great! My son is a huge 5 year old (looks more like 7) and I bought him a medium. He is so excited to ski in it. The material feels like it will be very waterproof and durable!
Hi how much is the insulation in body in grams and does the outer fabric is water and wind proof and does size medium will be okay for my 7 and half years old son his hight is 50" or he can go through with large size too
This jacket has 100grams of insulation throughout the body, it is waterproof but not windproof and I would recommend going with the medium for your son, if it does not fit, we will get you a free return back and switch it out for you - no questions asked.
Too thin for MN winters
- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
- Fit: Runs small
Nice looking jacket but way too thin for our polar vortex winters in MN. I chatted with a rep who said it would be ok but not even close. No insulation at all in sleeves, very thin in the rest of the body. Runs small--the large was the same size/fit as my son's current size M.
Would this jacket be warm enough for casual winter wear in temps 0-30 degrees?
This jacket has a good amount of insulation, I would say as long as he's wearing more than a t shirt under it it could be worn as a casual winter jacket.
