Great waterproofing, and sick style
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazingly waterproof and looks so good with a bag. one problem is that there is only one inside pocket which is more like a net so things can rasily fall out. otherwise its an amazing jacket. Also the white means it get dirty kinda easily

Smokes Run Jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Smokes Run jacket is tough and well-made. The seams are well sealed, and the thick material keeps you warmer, with less insulation being required. It provides excellent wind protection, making it perfect for cold ski days. It does have a long cut, so I had to pull the lower zipper upward to keep it from catching on my hips while squatting during skin runs. Love the M-Bronze/Stargazer color scheme! Great Marmot jacket.

OK touring jacket, disappointed with some issues
I have purchased various Marmot products over the years and have been pleased with the products; however, after wearing the jacket several times, I am disappointed not only in the design, but quality. I use this jacket for ski touring, love the full side zips for excellent ventilation. The side pocket zippers frequently get stuck. Additionally, I found that inside material broke down within a couple uses when wearing a small backpack with the jacket. At this price point it's not acceptable.

Almost perfect.
This is a very nice jacket, well fitting with great features. However one of the chest zippers does not fully close. While skinning in light mixed precipitation the inside of that chest pocked got wet. Also a couple of the other zippers are surprisingly difficult to fully close and I worry they too will not fully seal after extended use. For a jacket at this price level I did not expect any failures. While I am happy overall with the jacket I would not purchase it again unless the zippers are improved.

Awesome fit!
Great fit. I especially loved the armpit zippers, these are the best I cam by so far. You can actually open and close them with one hand, easily!

Great quality product, sizing off.
Product is great quality. Sizing is a bit off: I’m 5’9” and 215lbs, solid built athletic male. The Large could not even wrap around my body and the Xl was just way too long in the sleeves and a very boxy fit. I’m not sure anyone taller or heavier than me could buy the apparel. I’ll try again with other items down the road. I do like the brand.
