Nothing Tough about these pants

Bought these pants to hike in and after one mild season they already ripped asunder. All it took was one large step up and the pants split apart like the sea did for Moses. For their price point these pants should last for years not a single season.

Comfortable with or without harness

Very comfortable, but fit seems a bit off. It could be because the material while soft is also somehow "grabby," it does not slide over skin smoothly as you bend and lift leg. Perk is that it feels good in kneebars. At right price I would definitely buy again as they still allow enough freedom of movement to make good climbing pants.

So close (not really)

Wow, I can get within 1 inch of the inseam I need, if only I add 8-10 inches to my waistline. I wasn't aware that people only got taller if they also got bigger around.

Fantastic pants!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these in the summer in preparation for some fall hiking. They have exceeded all expectations I had. They are comfortable and durable, warm and breathable. They worked great while hiking in cooler temps but I also wear them out as casual pants.

Don’t climb in them

Fit great, real loose and comfortable. Branded as climbing pants, but ripped across the thigh when I squatted down my first time climbing in them. Probably solid hiking pants.

Lost the button

if only the button stayed on- they were super comfortable and fit well- I enjoyed them for 3 wearings and was considering another pair. I may give them another chance- the fit was very close to my favorite pranas.

Great pair of climbing pants!

Overall pretty happy with these pants. I researched tons of pants before I bought the Rubidoux pants. It was a pretty frustrating search due a majority of pants come in some kind of slim fit. I have large thighs and calves so slim just doesn't work for me. Pros for me: love the waist band, one of the main features I was looking for Cinch cuff works really well Material has perfect amount of stretch Cons for me: Sizing, I really needed a 33'' waist. The 32 was to tight and the 34 (the size I ended up keeping) is on the verge of being to big. Also, wish they offered a short version (30'' inseam). Really frustrating that these have a high price point and you have to get a 32" inseam. Drawstring in the waist band needs to be a little thicker. Not sure how long it will last. Like someone else said ditch the side pocket it feels pretty useless.
