Sizing a little off
I really like these shorts, great quality and cool look - but the sizes come up really small. I have another pair of marmot shorts in a 6 that are a little large on me. In these the 8 was super tight.

Long enough for harness without being too long
I have gotten a lot of compliments on these shorts! I like the length. Long enough to comfortably wear a harness without being too long. It seems like they fit on the tighter side which worked for me.

Sizing Incorrect
I have this short in crocodile S8 & love the fit. Since it’s been awhile since I’ve worn the shorts I tried them on to see if they still fit, they did very comfortably, so I ordered a S8 in dark steel. The shorts that arrived are 3/4in less in diameter which equates to 1 1/2in difference in circumference. Either the crocodile is a 10 or the dark steel is a 6; but no way are they both 8’s. So disappointing & won’t be ordering again, as I can no longer count on Marmot’s sizing in pants/shorts. Still will order tops as I’ve never had a problem with their Mediums.

runs super small
wished these work. usually wear a size 2 but oh my nothing about these shorts fit, probably could have order a size 6/8 and they still would have fit awkward. very small waist then baggy butt areas then super tight on the thighs. just very awkwardly made.

I own several Marmot Shorts, these run really small. I'm usually a size 4, they were really tight.
