Why We Like The Nolita Featherless Jacket

When the sky looks ominous, we zip up the Nolita Featherless Jacket before heading to work. As the clouds let loose, we pull the hood up and cinch it tight. The breathable membrane keeps the storm out without making it muggy inside, so we're dry, not sweaty, when we get to the office.

Believe them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Other reviewers mentioned this as well but I dismissed it as picky but now agree…the zippers are rubbish. I am otherwise pretty happy with the jacket and did end up keeping it.

Nice jacket, terrible zipper!!!

The fit is flattering but the zipper is terrible. The fabric has some stretch to it, I’m debating on whether to keep the large I got or size down to a medium size. I haven’t worn it outside yet, I just got it today. But yeah, I agree with the other reviewers about the poor quality of the zipper! I might have to send mine in soon too as the other reviewer mentioned. One thing that is not mentioned in the description too is that tte style of the jacket is more like a parka, it comes down mid thigh on me. The fabric seems breathable and not clammy like some waterproof material is, so bonus points for that. I have returned otherwise flattering jackets for not being breathable enough in the past.

Nice with MAJOR Flaw!

For the most part the jacket is very nice. True to size, comfortable and warm in temperatures with teens windchill. The zipper is just bad! Keeps splitting at bottom because the catch is very short (less than 1/4 inch). Repair turnaround is almost 3 months so must live with it for the winter and send in during summer.

Nice long jacket, but too warm, too bulky

Bought the for a trip to Vancouver, Canada, in November, but it is way too warm, too bulky for that. The combo of a lightweight down jacket and a gore-tex shell worked much better for me.

Can you replace the zipper for me?

Love this jacket and the color. The zipper is more suited to a dress than a winter jacket however. It has already slit from the bottom up a few times when the jacket was zipped closed. Can you replace the zipper for me?
