Very Sharp Teal Color

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium

Bought this for fall hiking and as undergarment fleece for winter, but am already wearing it.... Super fit (M) and tailored around waist, yet soft, snug around neck and plenty flex in shoulders. Snug under armpits (which I like) and sleeves very comfortable with snug fleece for my 35" arms. All zippers work smoothly and are easy to start. Will update after winter activities...

Exactly what I wanted, a soft fleece

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Large

I wanted a roomy fit for cross country skiing etc. and for layering under a wind-shell. This is like the traditional polyester fleece with total breath-ability, but has a knitted look and texture that's probably more durable than the old fuzzy fleece. It has very little wind resistance, which is what I wanted. The zipper is beefier than average. The sewing is top quality flat seams with lots of stitches. The wrists do not have elastic and there's no waist drawstring, but that makes very little difference as the jacket isn't meant to block wind.

Very nice marmot gear

Great All Around Fleece

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

This is my go to fleece. I initially bought both medium & large. Medium would have been fine if you like your fleeces a little tight, but I went with the large to have a little more freedom of movement and the option to layer underneath. Still fits great, definitely not baggy by any means. I prefer the "sweater" fleece outer because it tends to take a little more abuse than regular fleece. It also looks nice enough to wear around town. Some say sweater fleece is not quite as breathable than regular fleece, but i have yet to notice a difference. The smooth outer fleece slides easily in and out of a rain jacket or shell.
