Serious protection with comfort enhancing features.
The Marker Kojak Helmet combines a rugged hard shell construction with comfort-enhancing features to keep your head safe while preventing clamminess when you're out on the mountain. This ski helmet features a tough yet thin ABS outer shell and an EPS foam core for solid impact protection without excessive bulk. A fit adjustment dial in the back of the helmet allows you to customize a secure fit, and it is easy to operate with just one hand, as well as with a glove on.
Soft and thermally-efficient lining insulates while wicking moisture and is antibacterial and is hand-washable for long-wearing comfort and durability. The lining can also be removed if you prefer the feel of your own beanie. Securing the under-chin strap closed couldn't be easier thanks to the big and easy to use fiddle-free Fidlock OG buckle that only takes one hand to slide closed, and it is easy to operate with a glove on. A goggle clip at the back of the helmet secures your specs but can also be removed for a more streamlined look.

- Familiarity: I've used it several times
This is a decent helmet, but not very comfortable. The good news is that if you have any "hot spots," i.e. places where the helmet is very uncomfortable, the hard foam does seem to slowly change shape to adjust to your noggin.
The bad news is that the helmet still won't be super comfy. It gets the job done, though: It protects your head and keeps your ears warm at a good price point.
