Great Traction & Absorption
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
I've used this towel a handful of times in hot yoga and so far am stoked on its performance. The grip pattern on the bottom of the towel helps hold it in place from start to finish. I would suggest throwing some water down in the hand and feet area to start, but once you get going, the towel does all the rest. Additionally, I've used it a couple times in a row before and it seems to air itself out quite (ie. no sweaty smell) well when drying, which is great. A great pick up for your yoga practice.
Hands Down Dog Favorite Mat Towel
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
This is my second Equa Hold towel. I'm a huge fan. Most yogis at my studio practice with Yogi-toes. I've never been much of a fan as the towel is a bit rough and not as soft as the Equa towel. Plus, the yogi-toes grips are really big and don't feel good under my feet. The Equa HOLD is the perfect combination. Super soft and the grips are tiny so you barely feel them and your mat stays put. Like most towels, you do want it to be slightly moist to get the grip. If it doesn't stick at first use a spray bottle to get it lightly damp or just build up your own sweat and the sweat in your palms will do the trick.
