MammutWall Micro Locking Carabiner

Light and secure.

The Mammut Wall Micro Locking Carabiner weighs less than two ounces in order to keep the most minimalist alpine climbers content. The screw gate ensures the biner remains closed while you belay, and the keylock nose eliminates snagging.

Best Price for an Awesome Locker

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These are easily my favorite locking biners. They are slightly smaller and lock within a couple twists. Definitely recommend these as a great locking carabiner thats very simple to use.

Nice Locking Biner

I got this for my self anchoring sling and it's perfect. It's smaller in size and the nose is thin, as opposed to rounded, so it fits in those tight spots that can form when you're atop a route at the chains.

    Love them!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

The Mammut Wall Micro Locking Carabiner is very easy to use and feels quality. Have not had any issues yet, I do not imagine I will! Great price also!

    Light and short screw action

Awesome little light biner. Barely more than 2 full screws from locked to open. Great feel and a brand you can trust.

      Ridiculously light, easy close

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

The Mammut Wall Micro comes in at a very light weight while having great axis strength.

      Hang Tight

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I just bought this because it was cheap and seemed reputable. Best believe this product is great!! Super light weight, especially for aluminum. Screw gate opens and closes with ease and quickness. And slick profile with great color scheme!

      The Quick Screw

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This is a lot like the DMM Shadow and Petzl Spirit locker offset D's. I've long used the Spirit and could easily see putting this in the rack instead. This isn't an H-frame like the other two, but it's close in weight and profile.

Here are the picky details, since climbers have a right to be picky: this is a little narrower than the Spirit and the gate spring is a bit softer. But the biggest difference is the screw: aggressive grip here, and I can spin it shut in 2 turns (vs 4 for the Spirit and 5 for the Shadow).

      Sleek

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Very sleek looking and feeling carabiners. I like how thin they are, it makes putting them through chains or a cluttered anchor a little easier. They're small though, so they wouldn't be my first choice for a master-point.

      Solid Functional Screw Gate

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This does exactly what you want it to. Screw gate doesn't seize. Haven't had any issues

      Bomber

These things are great I use them for my grigri and for cleaning sport anchors and they're perfect. They're small and strong so they don't clutter up the bolts and they have a smooth gate action.

        Perfect for anchoring in!

Getting ready to clean a sport route? These are perfect for anchoring yourself to the wall! Nice and small so they wont clutter up the anchors while you're focused on the job at hand!

It's like you read my mind! Thanks Nick.
