Mammut Wall Guide Low Shoe - Men's
MammutWall Guide Low Shoe - Men's

Who knew the approach could be so pleasant?

Whether access to the crag consists of easy-going trails, steep scrambles up scree, or a quick walk across a parking lot, Mammut's Wall Guide Low Men's Shoes will get your feet there in good enough shape to squeeze into a pair of climbing shoes and send the crux. Abrasion-resistant leather uppers will take some abuse on and off the trail, while rubber toe and heel caps keep the shoes intact when you're feeling around for footholds or scrambling up loose rock.

Mammut gave the Wall Guides a snug feel similar to your climbing shoes thanks to the asymmetric lacing, then threw in sticky rubber soles for a sure-footed feel when every step counts. Mammut even gave the shoes its FeetMap lining for a soft and padded feel, making the shoes a treat to wear during the approach or around town.

Great trail shoes!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

These shoes have been really durable and great! There are a lot of aspects of this shoe I really appreciated while climbing up the face of a mountain. The lace system works really well with staying tight and in place. The protective toe is awesome for those not so graceful moments when you trip over a rock or a log, my toes felt no pain! The traction these shoes have are amazing, I was easily able to climb up steep slopes without any sliding issues. The only negative thing about these shoes are the soles are extremely hard, after a couple of hours of hiking my feet were aching. I would recommend getting a size larger and getting some nice sole inserts.
