What does the lifetime warranty cover for this product? How long is this product intended to last? Also, if it fits "true to size" and a 9.5 is too small, should I purchase a 10 or a 10.5?

Ok. I made a 21 days colorado trail with this boot and.... Ever had any minor pain in my feet. Just perfect. At the end of my trip I realize that my feet where so perfect. Simple Amazing

As breathable as a pair of plastic bags.

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size

I only wore these boots 3 times before i gave up. I tried different socks etc but the only consistent thing was lack of breathability. On my 3rd outing my feet got so wet inside that my skin was white and painful.

What it has in comfort ...

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

What is has in comfort it lacks in durability. I do love this boot, from the moment I tried it on. Never required any break in with me, just comfort from day one.

Unfortunately after a little over a year of work and trail use they have to be retired. The synthetic material came apart where the foot flexes. Looks like the harder plastic that extends down from the laces cut through the synthetic mesh. (Happened at all four flex points, two per boot. )

Because of this they now allow water directly in.

I felt they should have lasted a little longer. Wish they would have. Very comfortable.

Sounds like a design/manufacturing flaw. Have you tried to exercise the lifetime warranty? I would be interested to know if this kind of problem is honored.

have exactly the same "problem" with my shoes after 1 1/2 years in use. the synthetic material got broken the same part as yours. have you tried to exercise the lifetime warranty Brandon?

Matthaus, I never did. I was disappointed at the durability, though they worked hard for me during their short life. Not sure why I am as accepting of the disposable materialism with these boots versus other purchases but I chose to lay them to rest instead of inquire about a resurrection.

    The Green Iguana!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

They should have named this boot the green iguana. This boot looks and feels like the the iguana i used to have. With the scale tech. outsole this boot sticks to about anything almost to much traction, most the time you expect to slip side hillin in loose sand and gravel but not with these. These boots are so light and versatile I have bounced around playing basketball, jogged and yet I feel confident enough to deliver 350lb. refrigerators through uncertain desert terrain in AZ. They fit my 9.5E foot great even though I had to get a 10, but with the lacing system it makes it easy to lock my foot into place with plenty of toe room. I would have like them to put at least one locking lace hook and they can get warm, but very breathable when I take my boot off my foot is nice and dry. Probably won't be able to wear these in summer here in AZ. For now these are great! Nothings perfect. I'm giving these 4.5 stars.

    Nailed it!

Comfortable for foot and ankle area. Light weight keeps me nimble. Seems to breathe well. Easy on and off. Great traction in slippery mud and on slippery rocks. Easy to clean and make look like new.

have used it for only 1 month but looks like a great boot, pretty confortable right out of the box.

my only advise is to go up one size
