Good wind breaker

It's a pretty good wind breaker. It more then works to keep the cool wind off if out foe a walk or a hike.

Best Jacket for Hiking in the Fall

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I bought this jacket to use on a multi-day hiking trip in Olympic National Park. First time wearing Mammut jacket. Looked and felt nice, the construction looked meticulous...I was pleased at how well the fabric breathed while still blocking the wind in the mornings and evenings. Packed compactly into my backpack when the weather got warm during the day. It unpacked nicely without wrinkles when wore it as a regular jacket over street clothes for a casual dinner. Really versatile and practical!
