Why We Like The Saentis Low GTX Hiking Shoe

During spring snow thaw or in wetter climates, the Saentis Low GTX Hiking Shoe is the perfect companion for hiking or running wet trails. Just received

These were true to size and form fitting to my feet. Very comfortable and versatile. I typically keep my sneakers until they are almost bald, these have Michelin rubber soles which I doubt are going to wear down like my old Under Armors.

Good Build- Bad Sizing

Got the shoe in a 13, and it wore super small. Barely got my foot in and it just wasn't going to work. That said, the sole has great traction design and is a dense, durable rubber. The flexibility seems great for running and the toe bends in the right places so I'm not concerned about prolonged wear damaging the Gore-Tex capability. Frustrating that sizes can't be exchanged but I will be waiting until the bigger size becomes available because they did seem to be good enough to buy twice.

Nailed it

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

This shoe is absolutely amazing. Just moved from Vail to Burlington and needed a good snow and ice trail shoe. This has been a perfect shoe for the wetter weather here in the NE. I have always worn Salomon and North Face shoes. These are on par if not better for the price. New fan of this brands shoes!!

Great shoe for outdoor activites

This shoe is my go to for all things outdoors, I use it for hiking in wet and dry conditions, fishing, and even a round of golf on a damp morning. They provide great stability and traction, fit well, and dry quickly.

Solid goretex version of shoe

Tread life, keeping feet dry, toe box with decent room, and sure-footed. I had the non gtx version since last fall and after some cold footed runs in slush, I ordered these. They are not super light and a bit heavier than the non-gtx, but not a big deal, and they are holding up well since i got them in early february, to slushy commutes and some mucky trail runs and hikes. Even just walking the dog in the rain is much more pleasant experience.
