Mammut Luina Tour HS Pant - Women's

Tour on.

While you're certainly not opposed to schussing, you're more fond of long tours and clean, wide turns through aspen groves, and those Mammut Women's Luina Tour HS Pant seems to enjoy them as well. Designed specifically for freeride adventures or backcountry touring, the Luina features a stretchy and soft DRYtech exterior that assures stretchy mobility, waterproof protection, and breathable comfort so you're well protected no matter what Mother Nature throws your way.

Additionally, a mesh lining wicks away moisture, while the Schoeller kick patches offer protection from sharp ski edges or crampons. And if all this talk about skiing is making you work up a sweat, the side ventilation provides on-the-go body temperature regulation. Not to mention, the jacket-to-pants interface and internal boot gaiters seal in warmth and protection, and the myriad of pockets keep necessities close at hand.

Picked these up for my wife. The waist does run small, but after reading all the reviews I just sized up and they fit perfectly. The pants are super comfortable, flattering fit and extremely waterproof. What more do you want from ski pants?
All the features, like the long side zips, are easy and work as intended.
Give them a shot you won't regret it.

Super Small Waist

I normally wear a size 4 pant across the board. I went to demo these pants and all we had left was a size 8. I decided to try them on anyways to see if I could make them work by adjusting the waist and nearly cried when I discovered that they were a little TIGHT on me.
LADIES -- you did not gain weight nor jump up in your pant size, these things just have a super tiny waist.

Other than the sizing, I wore these out snwowboarding (for the first time ever) and really liked them. They kept me dry the entire day even though I spent most of my time sitting in the snow. I wore a lightweight base layer underneath and never really got too cold either. They're a typical snowboard fit pant in the sense that they're a little baggy around the legs, but I liked how they made my butt look -- not too tight but still showing off my figure.

Overall, I'd recommend these pants but I think you'll have to order at least a size up if not more... I'd even recommend ordering multiple sizes, trying them on, and then returning what doesn't work.

PS here's me being really scared during my first time learning to board. I was wearing these pants.

Great pants but run small

  • Size Bought: 8

I tried about 10 different pants trying to find a great fit and style for ski mountaineering and touring. These pants are gorgeous and well made with soft backing and full side zips but run extremely small. I am normally an 8-10 and ordered an 8. I showed them to a friend who is a 2-4 and she tried them on and they fit her perfectly. Wish they would have fit me! I ordered up a size and they were suddenly too long.
