Tour on.

While you're certainly not opposed to schussing, you're more fond of long tours and clean, wide turns through aspen groves, and those Mammut Women's Luina Tour HS Pant seems to enjoy them as well. Designed specifically for freeride adventures or backcountry touring, the Luina features a stretchy and soft DRYtech exterior that assures stretchy mobility, waterproof protection, and breathable comfort so you're well protected no matter what Mother Nature throws your way.

Additionally, a mesh lining wicks away moisture, while the Schoeller kick patches offer protection from sharp ski edges or crampons. And if all this talk about skiing is making you work up a sweat, the side ventilation provides on-the-go body temperature regulation. Not to mention, the jacket-to-pants interface and internal boot gaiters seal in warmth and protection, and the myriad of pockets keep necessities close at hand.

Great pants but size up

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: 8

Last winter, I wore the matching jacket & pants in the Luina Tour HS line and I absolutely loved ski touring in this outfit. I breaths super well, so I never had to put the jacket on/take it off during transitions. My one recommendation is to buy a size bigger than you normally wear since the pants are cut more fitted in the hips.

Awesome pants!! Wish they fit........

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

Love the merlot color, love the details, the full zip and shell exterior are perfect, BUT I have to say the sizing is incredibly confusing....... typically I’m a size 6 (with pretty muscular thighs and butt) I usually size up to an 8 for snow pants so after reading reviews I sized up to a 10. I could get them on a zipped but they were incredibly tight, specifically in the butt and upper thigh area! I reordered a size 12 because I like the quality and honestly everything else anout this pant, soooo fingers crossed those ones fit! ( If not it looks like I’ll have to find something else seeing is 12 is as large as these babies come)

Awesome pants but wacky sizing.

Really awesome touring pants. They are durable and comfortable on long tours and the pockets are low profile and minimalist. I love the full length zipper for ventilation and easy on and off.
I heard that these pants ran small so I sized way up--I usually wear a 0 or 2 and ordered a 4 but it was still too small. I returned them and ordered a 6 and they fit great.

Once again, yes, these run small in the waist! That said, they are a go to piece for touring and backcountry days. Super comfy, great pockets and side zips for venting makes these a perfect companion in the backcountry. I own three pairs. Plus they're stretchy which makes steep boot packs or weird skin track moves easy, as you're not fighting fabric that limits your range of motion.

Picked these up for my wife. The waist does run small, but after reading all the reviews I just sized up and they fit perfectly. The pants are super comfortable, flattering fit and extremely waterproof. What more do you want from ski pants?
All the features, like the long side zips, are easy and work as intended.
Give them a shot you won't regret it.

I tried about 10 different pants trying to find a great fit and style for ski mountaineering and touring. These pants are gorgeous and well made with soft backing and full side zips but run extremely small. I am normally an 8-10 and ordered an 8. I showed them to a friend who is a 2-4 and she tried them on and they fit her perfectly. Wish they would have fit me! I ordered up a size and they were suddenly too long.
