Fine Lightweight Rain Protection
I went for a walk in a pouring thunderstorm with my wife and this lightweight waterproof shell performed great! Looking forward to testing it above treeline in the White Mts of NH.

Small, Portable, and Extremely Waterproof
This is my go to climbing/hiking rain jacket, it's tiny when I don't need it and has kept my dry in some nasty weather. I don't notice it on my harness at all during long climbs and almost always toss it in my day bag if the weather is questionable. It breathes fairly well compared to other rain jackets I've tried at similar price points. I'm 6'2" and 185 lbs, and the large fits perfectly with room for a midlayer.

So light
I like that the coat is so light and you can store it in its little bag. Great asset to put in a hiking bag. I tested it in light rain. It protects but do not breathe much. I can't wait to try it under a heavy rain.

I have been using this jacket during my mountain run trainings, hikes, and on the mountain bike, and have been extremely happy with the purchase. The jacket effectively shields the wind and rain. I have been wearing this jacket a good amount, and, like all other Mammut products I have had, have no concerns surrounding the quality and comfort. Highly recommend!

Super light comfortable jacket.
I am just under 6'2" with a 48" Chest...the XXL fits great with a little room for a midweight insulating layer. On several backpacking trips where we were caught in heavy rains, I stayed dry and didn't notice any seepage through the shoulders where the water would build up. On faster paced hikes with ultra-thin Merino T underneath on cool days, the Kento shed the wind and mist well keeping me comfortable underneath. The only CONS that I have for this jacket are the scarcity of pockets, the small size of the existing pockets, and the propensity for the ULTRA-LIGHT zipper to snag on the ultra-light fabric when zipping up.....but I suppose these were all design decisions to shave off the very ounces that led me to purchase the jacket in the first place.

This is a very nice jacket to stuff in your backpack and have ready for hiking in the rain. I bought an extra large (I'm 5'11', 195) because 1) it was described as having athletic-slim fit and 2) I wanted it to fit well over a down jacket when needed. I wish I would have bought a large, not the extra large. That said, I do like the jacket and I do take it hiking.

Excellent Lightweight Rain Shell
This jacket has become a go to piece for summer outings for me. It's a nice step up from a wind shell for days when light precipitation is possible. It is definitely an all-around piece, but I've been especially impressed with it for trail running, which was an unexpected use case when I ordered it. I suspect that as winter months come on, the 3L hardshell will largely replace this until summer, though I would not hesitate to bring it on shorter trips when it's snowing (ski touring, etc). Good fit and construction, as I have come to expect from Mammut. Colors look great. Looking forward to using this for years to come.

Love the trim fit from mammut. I'm 6'3', 160 lbs and the large fits great. This jacket is stupid light and the perfect jacket to sit in the bottom of your pack. It lacks some breathability (kinda feels like a plastic bag) but thats the tradeoff you make.
