Mammut Eismeer Light SO Pant - Women's

Corn never tasted so good.

Ski spring's sunny chowder with the Mammut Women's Eismeer Light SO Pant keeping you comfy. Mammut made this softshell out of highly breathable, moisture wicking, stretchy, water- and wind-resistant Schoeller Dryskin fabric, and finished it with ColdBlack to repel sunlight to prevent overheating and provide sun protection.

The Eismeer has a semi-fitted, ergonomic, athletic fit that ensures full mobility whether you're skinning up or skiing down. Mammut reinforced the pant with stretchy Cordura for long-lasting durability that won't inhibit your range of motion. The flat waist accommodates harnesses and backpacks comfortable, and there's an internal adjustment for a snug fit.

Dry Tooling & Spring Alpine Pants

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Sz 8

Reinforced Cordura ankle and knee fabric is exactly where you need it to avoid snags from crampons and abrasive scraping of sharp rocks. These are my favorite Dry Tooling and mixed climbing pants bar-none! They are highly stretchy and easily fit my icebreaker wool pants underneath. Full range motion for high stepping on climbs as well as a nice stretchy waist band that feels amazing with a harness on - no hassle with buttons or belt closures because they fit most hip sizes. I could have worn the size 6, but I like ample space for layering so I went with the size 8. Let me know if you have fit questions about anything Mammut!

I'm also 5'10", did you find the regular inseam was long enough for you?

Hey Alexandria! The inseam was perfect for me, and the pants have a zipper at the bottom to stretch them over ice-boots / mountaineering boots.

Do the leg hems have elastic, cinchers, or side zip to allow for different boots?

Hey Tammy,

They do have side zippers for different boots!
