General

Should have looked closer. No hand pockets is a bit odd, otherwise grant jacket.

Excellent Warmth and Comfort

I use this item for ski touring, hiking, and general outdoors. The fit is tight to slightly snug. The dual-zipper is useful for when it seems too tight around the waist, it unzip from the bottom about 2 inches. The jacket is warm enough and durable for using as an outer layer. Yet it is also not bulky and can be used as a mid-layer. The cellphone pocket does not necessarily fit larger smart phones, but is good for smaller items like ear-buds. The inner pocket and directly underneath so that right pocket (while wearing) can get bulky. The Hood fits well with a helmet, and the helmet lip keeps it in place and move with head turns. The colors do slightly bleed at the wrists, but I am not sure if that is actually dirt or not..

Awesome ski touring jacket

It's a great jacket for when it's windy or you need a bit of extra warmth

This jacket has been performing extremely well in demanding conditions here in Montana.

Jacket was breathable during extensive ski tour and kept me warm despite very windy and -12 F conditions. I am very impressed so far. I have no negatives at this point.

Just what I was looking for

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Was in search of an upgrade on my soft shell jacket and found it. The chest pockets are great as having waist pockets was a huge pain with the harness. The balance of warmth, weight, wind protection and ability to breathe are remarkable. Only been able to ski tour once in about 20 degree snow storm and rock climb in 40 degrees in high winds but very satisfied so far. I?m a medium in almost every shirt and jacket I wear but had to go small with this one.

Purpose-built for Climbing

This jacket has everything I want in a softshell. It's soft, flexible, sleeves are the perfect length, two large chest pockets. Initially I found the lack of side zip pockets to be odd, but after climbing in this jacket for over a month I realized that I didn't need them. Also the hood is really nice. No problem fitting over a climbing helmet and it stays out of the way. Really love it.
