I decided to try these shoes after struggling with slipping in my hiking boots during long approaches through rocky gullys. I've never had any trouble with blisters or discomfort in these shoes, and they've become an essential piece of gear for approaches and day hikes. I have wider feet, and most athletic shoes will eventually cause pain and sensitivity in the outside of my foot after wearing them for a long time, but these do not! The rubber is sticky enough for approaches, and I have even climbed routes in these shoes a few times without any problems. These shoes are not only functional, but also really aesthetically pleasing. I love the color, and I've received a lot of compliments while wearing them. I haven't tried any other brands of approach shoes to compare them to, but I really like them.

Size down!!
I know it says true to size everywhere but I'm a women's US 7.5 - 8 and the 7.5 was still a half size too big. Size down a full size
